While at daddy's warehouse today, the kids wanted to ride bikes and use their new safety protection. So, Lee decides to put on all the "stuff". Daddy, where are the "knee paddles and the elbert paddles." Yup elbow and knee pads are now called elbert and knee paddles.
I was waiting for her to also ask me to turn on the sun.

Names were always a challenge in our family. My parents called me Elizabeth. My sister (9 years my junior) called me E-pho-bets.
#1 son Aaron was born 18 mos after only daughter. She called him Erdie and later- Air-lin, and the names still stick in some circles.
