The day everyone got married 7-7-07

Well, everyone but me and the rest of us married folks. This week has been a very long week. Like I wrote, we have had visitor after visitor swing into town. Last night we had more cousins and their kids over. It was unexpected but yet very nice and comforting having them around.

I was reading a blog the other day that had me crying with laughter. A poster was talking about how he had gone out to get mangoes for his pregnant wife one day. He brought some into the house and went to use the bathroom. The next day, he had a nasty rash in his mid section. Went to the doctor and found out it was a reaction from the mango sap. Youch! The lesson, he said, was that you should was your hand before and after using the bathroom. So, as the posts continue on, another person says, aren't you glad you went number one and not number two because a rash at the other end is worse. I just thought it was sooooo funny.

Family warms the heart

As I mentioned, we have lots of family and friends coming in this week for visits. Hubby and I were talking about how happy the kids have been having their second oldest cousin here. Husband commented that it was nice having a familiar voice around. She has been such a nice addition. She helps without being asked to and entertains the kids much better than I can. Says something about being young and energetic. She still doesn't know when she will return home but we told her she is more than welcome to stay as long as she wants.
I had a good laugh last night when we were getting ready for dinner. I asked niece if there was anything that she does not eat. I remember that her older sister does not eat meat and is picky about a lot of stuff she eats. Niece says there isn't really anything that she absolutely won't eat. Then, she told me the funniest thing I've heard in a long time, she said that her sister once told the family that she hears mooing when she eats meat. Yup, she hears cows mooing. So I said, does she hear chickens clucking when she eats that? Classic eldest niece statement...Mooooo! ROFL. Too funny.
